Cinqe Matchmaking Reviews 2025: Pros, Cons, and Cost!
Nearly half of all Americans believe that the dating scene has gotten significantly worse in the past decade. As pessimistic as that survey is, there’s definitely some truth to it. Finding love has become more challenging than ever before partially because of online dating and apps.
Sure, apps and algorithms were once a promising solution to help singles make lasting connections and find true love, but research shows that they’ve done more harm than good to their members and the dating scene as a whole. As more singles become disillusioned with the negative side effects of dating apps, they’re turning to a dating method as old as marriage itself: Matchmaking.
Matchmaking services aren’t without their fair share of controversy, either: there are hundreds of Matchmaking firms popping up across the U.S., but many lack the network, educational background, and processes to actually help their clients find committed relationships.
To help singles determine which Matchmaking service is their best option, we are compiling reviews, complaints, success rates, and all the information we can get about the nation’s leading Matchmaking firms.
If you’re currently considering Matchmaking services, I’d bet that you’ve come across Cinqe. They’re a nationally recognized and established firm with a unique approach to crafting connections. But can they actually deliver? We’ll dive into Cinqe’s Matchmaking process, cost, and client reviews to help you make your decision.
What is Cinqe Matchmaking?
Cinqe Matchmaking is a high-end Matchmaking and Dating service which aims to help professional singles find meaningful connections. Since its launch, Cinqe has grown its internal team to serve clients across the U.S., Canada, and Dubai.
Their Matchmaking model caters to successful, elite singles, and provides each client with a tailored experience. They provide date planning, coaching, and feedback sessions with Matchmakers. Unlike most Matchmaking companies, clients are served by all of Cinqe’s Matchmakers in their search for love.
Although they do have a decent-sized internal match database of 60,000 singles to choose from, Cinqe also uses headhunting techniques to find matches for their clients outside of their database. Their Matchmakers frequently recruit matches on social media, from personal circles, and even other Matchmaking firms.
Who Owns Cinqe Matchmaking?
Cinque is currently still founder-owned and operated, unlike most Matchmaking companies. Neither co-founders, Melissa Lapchuk and Erica Arrechea, started their careers in Matchmaking, but later pooled their individual talents to launch the firm. Before founding Cinqe, Arrechea held marketing and sales roles, while Lapchuk was an interior designer.
In 2012, they launched Love Love International, which they later rebranded to Cinqe Matchmaking. Originally, their firm operated solely in the San Francisco Bay Area, but they have since expanded. Cinqe now serves clients in various U.S. cities as well as Vancouver, Canada, and Dubai.
Lapchuk does not serve as a Matchmaker, however, Arrechea is still Cinqe’s lead Matchmaker. They have since enlisted the expertise of six other Matchmakers, many of whom owned independent firms which were acquired by Cinqe.
How Does Cinqe Matchmaking Work?
Similarly to other Matchmaking companies, anyone interested in joining Cinqe will first need to complete an online form on their website. After they receive the form, a Cinqe Matchmaker will be in touch to schedule a one-on-one call to learn more about your dating history, interests, personality, and relationship goals.
According to an interview featuring Cinqe’s founder, potential clients could speak with three Matchmakers before they are extended a membership offer. Cinque does not accept every applicant as a client and is one of the more selective, exclusive Matchmaking services available.
If the Matchmaking team believes you’re a good candidate for their services, you’ll be scheduled for a longer call with one of the Matchmakers where they will present match candidates and introduce you to their team. If you’d like to pursue any of the matches they find for you, their team will draft a bespoke membership contract and finally extend an offer.
After joining, you’ll be assigned a dedicated Matchmaker for your search. They will begin a more formalized match search on your behalf, and request weekly meetings to discuss the search process and any feedback you might have. Once you find a match you’d like to pursue, Cinqe handles the date planning and scheduling. You and your match are also expected to provide feedback after each date.
Cinque Matchmaking Reviews 2025
If you’ve followed the other blogs in our series, you’ll know that we’ve managed to compile reviews from at least three trusted sites for each Matchmaker we’ve written about. This time, we’re coming up empty-handed. As of 2025, Cinqe has absolutely no reviews on credible sites like Yelp, Trustpilot, or the Better Business Bureau.
Client reviews are arguably some of the best resources for anyone looking into Matchmaking services. They help to build trust with potential clients and also establish a Matchmaker’s reputation in the industry. Negative client reviews and complaints are most important, as they give insight into how each company handles customer service and satisfaction.
Because Cinqe has no reviews on third-party sites, it’s incredibly difficult to determine how their clients actually feel about their services. They do list screenshots of emails and texts on their website that supposedly come from real clients, but we do not recommend taking these as factual.
These screenshots do not include any images of their clients, which, in all honesty, is suspicious. Most established Matchmakers provide at least a few images of their past clients on their site for social proof, as anyone can do a reverse image search to find out if that is a real client or a stock photo.
In Cinqe’s defense, it’s very possible that they have not had any clients willing to allow the firm to use their photos on the website. Luxury Matchmaking services are designed to be discreet and 100% confidential, so asking clients for permission to use their images is tricky.
Cinqe Matchmaking Complaints and Lawsuits
Although Cinqe does not have any reviews on third-party sites, they maintain a good reputation in the Matchmaking industry for their lack of lawsuits and complaints. Currently, Cinque has faced no legal trouble with any of their clients and has no online complaints.
As we’ve been reviewing the top U.S. Matchmaking services, we can honestly say that this is the only company we’ve reviewed that doesn’t have any negative reviews or legal trouble. Cinque has done a remarkable job at selecting which clients they take on, which allows them to keep a nearly spotless reputation.
Is Cinqe Matchmaking Legit or a Scam?
Based on our research, despite a few red flags, Cinque is a 100% legit Matchmaking and dating service. Though they don’t have any client reviews, their lack of lawsuits and customer complaints really helps to establish them in the Matchmaking industry.
Overall, they are generally well-acclaimed and recognized by other Matchmakers and have been featured in the media numerous times. Again, their lack of reviews or success metrics is a viable cause for concern, but their overall image in the industry remains positive.
Cinqe Matchmaking Cost
Like most Matchmaking firms, Cinque has a tiered membership, and each membership offer is customized based on the client’s needs and scope of search. Based on our research, even their entry-level packages have a steep fee of $35,000, and their most expensive membership is $200,000 or more.
Cinqe also has a match database membership option, which you can join free of charge! However, keep in mind that there is no official search on your behalf, and you’ll only be paired with one of the paying clients if you’re compatible. You also won’t be assigned a dedicated Matchmaker.
Cinqe membership does come with a unique perk: clients pay for a length of membership, not a set number of matches. This ensures clients are paired with their best possible matches as there is no pressure to hit a certain date quota. Most Matchmaking companies operate on a pay-for-matches system, in which pricing is based on the number of matches the client wants to receive.
Cinqe Matchmaking Success Rate
Unfortunately, we could not find any information on Cinqe’s success rate. According to their website and other articles featuring their founder, they aren’t concerned about acquiring hard data or metrics.
They focus more on the client experience and satisfaction rather than how many clients attain marriages or long-term relationships. They instead define success based on whether clients feel happy and fulfilled with the matches they receive and the experience overall.
Cinqe does claim that they boast a high client satisfaction rate, however, we again could not locate what that number is. It’s not our place to determine the caliber of any other Matchmaking service, however, we would like to point out that success rates are extremely important to both potential clients and any Matchmaker’s industry reputation.
By design, Matchmakers should be focused on ensuring their clients find a committed relationship. Client experience is equally important, but the ultimate goal of Matchmaking is for clients to attain a partnership. It is reasonably concerning for any Matchmaking company not to list success data.
Is Cinqe Matchmaking Worth It?
Whether Cinqe is the right Matchmaker for you really depends on your specific relationship goals, preferences, budget, and the level of service and support you’d like. It’s not our place to determine if Cinqe is your best option, but we can say a bit about who their services are best suited for.
If you have a large budget to work with and you’re seeking a dating service that’s bespoke, hands-on, and collaborative, Cinqe could be a great choice. They have a unique approach to Matchmaking, in that you work with their entire Matchmaking team instead of just one dedicated Matchmaker, which makes their model more of a joint effort.
That said, if you need to stick to a tight budget and need to see proven, tested results before signing up with any Matchmaker, Cinqe probably shouldn’t be your first choice. Cinqe is definitely one of the more expensive Matchmakers we’ve written about and we weren’t able to find a ton of information about their services in general.
Need More Help Finding a Matchmaker?
Cinqe Matchmaking is a premium dating service that caters to professional singles in search of a committed relationship. With a team approach to Matchmaking, bespoke packages, and personalized support, Cinqe’s services are elite and highly tailored to each client. However, the lack of third-party reviews and success data does raise concerns about how effective their services are.
If you’re looking for a custom, hands-on dating service and have the budget for high-end Matchmaking, Cinqe could be a worthwhile investment. But for anyone who needs hard facts and evidence of success or is hesitant to spend a ton of money without social proof, you may want to consider other options.
