How Does Exclusive Matchmaking Work?

After you’ve completed the form, one of their team members will be in contact with you to schedule an initial consultation. The consult can be held in-person, over the phone, or a video call depending on how close you are to their office.

Out of all the Matchmakers we’ve reviewed, Exclusive Matchmaking has the fewest third-party reviews by far. Currently, Exclusive Matchmaking has no reviews on Yelp, Glassdoor, or the Better Business Bureau, so we’re in the dark about how their clients truly feel about their membership. Having been in business since 2011, it’s honestly alarming that Trombetti’s firm just has 3 total reviews. Exclusive Matchmaking does value client confidentiality, however, they don’t have any anonymous testimonials that feature real client photos on their website, either.
We were able to find one review on their Google page and two on Indeed, but that’s hardly enough to prove if their clients saw success. Indeed shows two reviews for Exclusive Matchmaking, both of which are fairly recent. They are currently rated at 1 out of 5 stars, which is exceptionally low, even for Indeed ratings. Both reviewers say that they are former employees of Exclusive Matchmaking.
The latest review was written by one of the firm’s Executive Assistants. The reviewer says that Exclusive Matchmaking makes big promises to their employees, but seldom delivers. They go on to explain that the company has a very high turnover rate for a reason and that anyone would regret working there. Ouch!
The older review was posted by a former office employee for Exclusive Matchmaking. The reviewer come out and states that “the owner is awful”, and that employees are screamed at, don’t receive their full paycheck, and are forced to give Exclusive Matchmaking access to all of their social media accounts. The only pro they mention is free parking, which is quite pale in comparison to the negatives they list.

Exclusive Matchmaking has their third and final review on their Google profile for their Annapolis location. The review was posted over 11 years ago, so it’s quite dated as well. They have a 5-star rating on Google, but that’s hardly significant given their one total review.
The Google review shares a positive experience working with Susan. The reviewer says that Susan is professional, knowledgeable, and truly cares about her clients. The reviewer says that Susan instilled a deep confidence in her ability to “own any room”. They add that Susan helped them understand the bad dating habits they kept repeating and break the negative cycle. Overall, this is a very positive review of Susan’s date coaching abilities, but doesn’t give any insight into her Matchmaking model.

Exclusive Matchmaking is a luxury service, and that’s understandably reflected in their price tag. Unlike other Matchmakers, Trombetti charges between $350 and $550 for the initial consultation. The price depends on if your meeting is in-person or via phone.
Their VIP or Platinum Matchmaking membership widely varies in price; their packages range between $7,500 to upwards of $250,000. Exclusive Matchmaking also offers a more elite CEO Club membership, but we couldn’t locate the exact price on that tier. Trombetti also offers a Gold membership for singles younger than 33 who don’t need date coaching, but that’s only available for men in Maryland, Northern Virginia, and DC. Their Gold membership is quite a bit cheaper than their other options.
Trombetti has another unique offering per her Exclusive Matchmaking firm: private parties. Anyone who goes through the initial consultation can elect to host a “Bachelor Party”, a private event where Trombetti will bring potential matches for you. The match party starts at around $4,000, but there’s no long-term commitment with this option.
Exclusive Matchmaking Success Rate
Exclusive Matchmaking has a unique approaching and interesting offerings, but they share at least one parallel to other Matchmakers: a lack of genuine success metrics. We’ve reviewed many Matchmaking companies, and we’ve come to realize that real success data is few and far between. Actually, most Matchmakers don’t have any real data around which percentage of their clients enter a relationship or marriage.
the only mention we could find about Exclusive Matchmaking’s success rate was a heading on one of the webpages. The heading states, “What’s the secret to our high success rate when matching elite singles?”. That’s all the information they give; Trombetti doesn’t provide data on their “high success rate”. Again, if you want to learn more about how effective Exclusive Matchmaking is at connecting their clients with quality matches, you’ll need to speak with their team directly for the latest information.
Is Exclusive Matchmaking Worth It?
Whether Exclusive Matchmaking is worth it for you really depends on your budget, relationship goals, and physical location. Trombetti’s Matchmaking firm could be a great option for men based in the Northeastern US who have a large budget, are looking for a committed relationship, and who want date coaching as well as a dedicated match search.
However, Trombetti’s model might not be the best option for women who aren’t based in the Northeast. Based on the website, it seems that Trombetti does have a Matchmaking membership option for women, but it seems Exclusive Matchmaking encourages women to join her date coaching model instead.
